380SL...

Someone PLEASE help a 1981 380SL owner find a good exhaust system for this car. Is there anything that can be done to give this poor beast just a LITTLE more power??? Thanks -Jim

Re: 380SL...

It's hard to get a little power from that engines setup, but I found removing the vacuum restrictor to the distributor helps a bit. Sorry, I don't know about exhaust.<br>Rene

I've heard that removing that small metal bar (with rubber bumper) from above the airflow sensor plate might help w/airflow. Is this a bad idea? -Jim
