The guide shows the 380SL doing better than the 350SL and 450SL.

I'm surprised my 1986 560SL at #3 condition is valued at $21,500
and my #2 condition 1983 380SL is valued at $17,100.

As has been said before, it is in Hagertys best interest for you to value your car for more and to pay them for more insurance.

And...That said... Exactly what are you trying to say about Santa and Mr. Bunny??? :frown

I thought about this for some time. Hagerty says one thing, Ebay, Craigs list says something different. My 73 450Sl is actually worth every damn dollar I spent. I half expect it's resale value to be zero and I am okay with that. Some people gamble some play the market. I got this....

I own both a 380SL and a 560SL.
There are pros and cons for each.
Personally, the 380SL pricing makes it a great bargain compared
to the pricing for the 560SL. The 380SL is really a better performing
vehicle than all the nay sayers like you to think about it.
