Remember an earlier picture with roughly one-inch clearance between the exhaust manifold flange and the engine bay wall?
Well, after much shifting and repositioning of engine mounts on the cross member and repositioning of the engine in the new engine mounts there is no more the 60 thousands clearance in the same area.
The exhaust will go on next and we will know how much of a problem we're going to have when we fire up that 500 for the first time.
Carl - I had no problem with mounting the tranny. You just have to make sure your torque converter is fully seated before torquing the flex plate bolts, otherwise the flex plate bows and the converter will be misaligned for tranny splines.
After having sat near the beach in Florida for two years this is what came out of fuel tank. The entire fuel system had to be purged along with a new fuel pump and relay.
