Only the US one was forgettable.

The Euro, with it's lighter weight and 4 speed tranny (and double row chain and no smog gear unlike the US version) was a better car than the 450SLC in my opinion.

Fair enough. I was referring to the US version (national speed limit in 1981 -- 55mph).

Played with the DS header design yesterday for a few hours, after trying a few different routes, this seems like where it is going. Not sure if I am going to go 4 to 1 here, or 2 to 1 and then merge behind the motor.

You obviously know what you are doing, and the workmanship looks great. I'd bet if you can come up with a set of headers that fit the the 107 line, you'll have quite a few takers. Keep up the good work

don't always know, but I am willing to ask those who do. The Facebook page is probably the most up todate info, I'll try and check back in as things move along.

What sort of power increase would you expect from this conversion on a euro 450slc also what cost

Looks like Icengineworks kit, there's a hot rod shop near here that uses their stuff.
Sure beats the old heat gun and pvc pipe method.

Yes, it is from iceengine works, Victor makes some neat stuff. Still take a bit of time to figure out, but it is worlds faster (and better balanced) than previous methods.

As for power, I have no idea and don't want to quote anything till I put it on the dyno. Depending on the production run, mild steel should be in the mid teens. I'll know better once the prototype is done and look in to production costs.
