Well I finally got around to taking the door apart to see why the drivers door rattles when closing the door. It only does it when the window is down. Took drivers door apart and nothing seemed top be missing so I took the passengers door apart and discovered I am missing the clip that I have circled in the picture. This clip holds the window trim up against the window to eliminate rattling.
Anyone happen to have one of these ona parts car they would part with?
Gonna check EPC next to se if I can find a part number.
Mine doesn't have that piece either. Window rattles when down are commonly caused by a missing (dropped off) slide block which attaches to the glass and slides up and down a U shaped rail attached to the door. That chrome piece is the top of the rail and comes off with 2 allen bolts accessible via holes in the back of the door. If you take it off be careful not to lose the little allen bolts when undoing.
