It's 36' x 56' with 10' ceilings...will have two 16 x 9 doors in the front when finished. I'm doing the whole thing myself, and am finding out I ain't as young as I used to be. Every muscle in my body is aching tonight.

I'd love to see pictures of your new addition. Pictures, or it didn't happen as they say.
That's awesome.

Spent all day finishing the long back wall today. Ran out of fuel for the power nailer and had to go to Lowes....my ass was dragging so bad I had to use a shopping cart to get around the store. lmao. I was looking around for one of those handicapped scooters but my wife said she would divorce me if I did that. She wasn't feeling my pain is all I can say.

If I can get out of bed tomorrow, I hope to finish the other 36' wall which will leave the front with the two big doors. Was 64 here today....supposed to be 70 tomorrow and cloudy. Unreal for December 1. I Love Global Warming. Just sayin. Having the forklift from the farm to set the walls is a big help. I'm subcontracting the trusses. A man has to know his limatations.

Good idea. You don't want to end up needing a truss.

My neighbor gave me some Popular Science magazines from 1962.
The classifieds always include ads for trusses. I guess hernias were more common then than now.
My favorite is an earnest fellow testifying: "I wouldn't trade my Acme Truss for a farm!"

Did you decide to configure the trusses for second story storage or perhaps a scissor for that future car lift ? You'll love yourself if you do ! And hate yourself if you don't
