I have my Becker 612 installed! Works well -- and has some magic features added on! (More about those next week. After I get the new dash cover, I'll be posting some really cool interior pictures.)
They replaced the faceplate and it looks great with the new burl wood trim and everything else!
The only issue I have with the Becker is that the time is always in a 24 hour format.
While I've looked over directions, I can't find anything about changing the time format to a 12 hour format.
Doesn't sound like it, here's what the manual says
Time
The time is displayed whenever the radio
is off. It is given in digits as a 24-hour
time. AM times are the same as
clockface times - 9:30, 10:15, and so on.
PM times have twelve hours added to
clockface time - 3:00 PM is given as
15:00, for example.
As we used to say in the air force, for civilians it's 10:10 PM, for the military, it's 2210 hours, and for all you officers, it's when Micky looks like this.
I kinda feel for you (in opposite direction). My GM has radio with AM/PM only and it annoys the shite out of me... so I gave this car to my wife.
