Hi,

Recently my 1986 Mercedes 300SL r107 met face to face with a tree, although at a low speed there was still a bit of damage done. So, I am in need of parts, mainly for the front end,
Including-
-left front headlight, full assembly euro style
-right front headlight lens, (will consider buying full assembly) euro style
-2 front fog light lenses (will also consider buying new units)
-bonnet and grill
-left and right fenders
-front spoiler
-front cross members/radiator support
-radiator
-fan shroud
-rear left hand tail light lens
-front bumper euro style
-oil sump

Any offers will be considered

Thanks

Miles

Miles, great to have another Aussie on here, but I wish it wasn't because of you current circumstances!

Parts wise, in Australia, new front guards, about AUD$900 for both, headlights, you need specifically for RHD, and I'd say with your car you need vacuum adjusting. Not cheap I'm afraid.

Radiator, budget about AUD$500, fan shroud is not too bad at about AUD$150.00

Fog light lenses are only AUD$15.00 each.

Rear LH tail light lens, Hmmm, I'm chasing one for someone now. The ROTW lens is NLA unlike the North American lens, but I think can be found for under AUD$400.00.

Grill can be bought from the US for okay dollars, bonnnet is going to hurt though. Radiator support, I'm not sure.

I think you might be best bying a cheap SLC and using the parts you need (they are interchangeable) and selling the rest, you will save a lot.

Where in Australia are you? I'm in Sydney and happy to help if I can...

Yeh I thought the same thing about the slc, I'm in the hunter valley, would you happen to know any australian companies who either sell second hand or new parts for a decent price, or any scrap yards that just specialist in European cars, any help is much appreciated :)
