found a 1980 500 SL Euro model with wipers on the headlights with 73,000 km (roughly 50,000 mi) ... white with black interior, black and white plaid seat inserts and on the door panels .... all original and in exceptional good condition in and out (not mint condition but seriously good condition).

This deal kinda smells cause I think it's too cheap ???

Is this car not worth much or a bad model or ...

I searched the serial number on this site and Date of Manufacture is 2003, import date I assume ?

Any and all help and opinions are appreciated ...

500sl is one of the more desirable 107 models, but it still isn't a very expensive car.
Just to confirm, what is the vin???

I can't get that VIN to come up on the MBCA Russia sight. Someone else give it a try.

Glad you posted that VIN. It is a 450SL, not a 500SL. The 044 gives it away. A 500SL is an 046. That being said it is not a bad price. It appears from your description to be a standard spec. or Euro 450SL. The seats and headlight wipers are not US. Does it have the small bumpers also?

If it is an '80 it most likely won't.

the letters on the trunk is definitely 500SL ... apparently you are a little right according to the seller it is a 450 with hotter cams ???

I could only find one pic on the net of another with h/l wipers and I'm not yet familiar enough with it to compare bumpers ... I looked at it yesterday for 15 minutes and run away but talked to the two partners today and feel a lot more comfortable now.

Nothing for nothing, but anyone can pick up a 500SL badge (i.e. on ebay) and re-badge the trunk lid. That doesn't make it a 500SL.
