Spring GTG April 17,18 2010 - Benzworld.org - Mercedes-Benz Discussion Forum

Is anyone really interested in a GTG here in the Myrtle Beach area in April??? I talked to the people at the Litchfield Inn today and can get great prices on rooms Ocean View balcony 89.00 pool view 79.00 regular room 69.00 + 10% discount with AAA or AARP. These are block prices 10 rooms min. ON the beach, bar, pool, RR, Very friendly and nice people...here are a couple of pix.. OK. I had a drink at the bar.. But, there is also the beach.. Not in all of the hustle and bustle of MB but plenty to do and close enough to have fun doing about anything...

I stayed there last summer in one of their houses type things don't remember what it was called but it was good. The best thing by far for that area unless you rent a house. They are slow as crap to get you in your room. check in was at 3 and it took them until 5 to get me in. It was busy that time of year, april they will probably say pick your room.

They said they would block as many as we want. And, if they are having a large group I'm sure they will be a bit more hospitable.. I'm just a block or so up on Sportsman DR. I just thought it would be a convenient place for everyone to stay close by.. And, enjoy some of the best of Pawleys Island..

I am certainly planning on being there if everything goes well. I will be shooting for the long distance award. I know I have Knobby beat. I have contacted a friend who lives in Newberry SC and promised to visit.

Cool, the more the merrier.. I have it listed under Benzworld.org so all anyone has to do is mention that you get the discount.. For those planning to stay longer I do suggest a rental house.. We can get pretty good deals on them John knows the owner of Litchfield real estate. Litchfield Inn -

The dates discussed in previous threads are April 15Th.16Th and 17Th of 2010. I will keep posted of any events that will be going on in the area at the time. They also have golf packages and there are deep sea charters for fishing...

i'll even make y'all shrimp n grits....LOL.. Not like what you get at a road side southern Truck stop.. They are really good.. PLUS FRESH LOCAL OYSTERS WILL STILL BE IN SEADON...

I'm only making the effort if everyone is willing to party a bit.

I am not making that trip to drink grape knee highs and talk about grandchildren.

I might even bring some Cubans.
