I just got a call from a Hollywood studio's agent confirming I would rent them my 107 for a movie shoot. It "auditioned" with a pile of photos about a month ago. Don't know any more yet, but they said they will call tomorrow with the details and schedule. Michigan is becoming a major movie production center because of tax enticements and they are building two major studios in town already. This is about the 7th or 8th movie being shot here. Cool. It's about time the damn thing started to pay its own way.

Do they still remove the glass so they can get a good shot at the driver? Was there any mention of stunt drivers? I envision a Dukes of Hazard chase scene where it jumps the bridge that is out and continues on in one piece. I always wondered how they did that.
I have no idea, but I don't think it would be damaged - we discussed that option and I mentioned that it would then cost them $12 grand. I think it is just being used for scenery.
