My car actually came from Tampa, it was a long one day trip. When we left from Georga it ran a little warm I didnt want the fuel pump to get hot so we filled it up. It took 32 hours to get to Md. When we lwere crossing into South Carolina from North Carolina we dragged this ricer about 110 miles an hour he didnt have a chance what an idiot, when the cop stopped me he said I had a lousy paint job I said can you do better. that was my longest trip

Do you know how uncomfortable the passenger seat is to sleep in? My buddy and I were both bleary eyed when we hit the border.
The engine ran great but the rest of the car was shot. It was a challenge keeping it between the lines.
And, I might add, I made the trip with no license plate.

Did you know that the SLC seat back reclines to almost fully prone, and as such, quite comfortable?

980 miles one-way for us, from Charlotte, NC to Overland Park, KS. Ran like a charm, although after the trip I had the windshield seals replaced!

Someone here has a reading disability? Interesting. I have a learning disability. Let me tell you about it as long as we're stuck here on the WW bridge...

All of you shut up or I'm going to start sharing the shattering emotional turmoil and pain of male pattern baldness that started at 18.

Every time I post.

I was talking about MY reading disability. We can add your learning disability to the list along with Scott's naked noggin if you wish.

I think Dugald has a couple more tellings of his "My New Implant Solved My Dysfunction" story before he's qualified to join.

My stories may be boring but I don't repeat myself.
Each one is a unique nugget of vital information.

Nobby 18 hours straight must have been gnarly. I wouldn't be sore after driving or sitting that long I'd be injured. It's while sitting like that when one start wondering about cruise control although I have heard that there are dangers in some system because they won't dissengage the throttle after the brake is pushed, but I've never driven or used a car with cruise control.

The only way to make a trip like that more excruciating would be sitting on a pickup truck bench seat with a shutdown radiator in 90*F weather with the heater full blast to avoid overheating.
