As to the problem at hand, it sounds like either an ignition, distributor timing, or or fuel delivery issue.

The o2 sensor.

Full tune-up.

And in terms of gas mileage, Im getting less than I should be!

All in all you've given me exactly what I was looking for. I'll take it in right away for a complete going over. Thanks a lot guys,

In regard to the OP's question, when was the last time you did a thorough tune-up? Do you have a CIS pressure tester?

Sorry, haven't a clue what a CIS pressure tester is. Shows how much I know!!
