...and I bet not ONE of the featured pilots have a 107!

Dig's edit: I was originally intending to use this old thread as a test for some editing features but then I stumbled across the awesome video in Nascar Fan's post #3 and thought it deserved a bump.

Effn hot shots! All of 'em.

My car was owned by a pilot at one time , the AOPA sticker is still on the windshield.

Whats the story with the pilots and the 107?

It's probably good that I'm not a pilot because there's obviously a lot I don't know about it. That flight violates pretty much everything I think I know about the way flight works on a fixed-wing aircraft.

One needs to afford one before one can buy one.
Pilots have the most glorified job there is....besides fire fighters..... the difference being fire fighters deserve the glory.

I just turned in my wings last year. I wanted to build a hot rod Mercedes. I cant afford two expensive hobbies. As much as a V12 107 cost, its cheap compared to flying.

This is a picture of myself (gray shirt) and a friend when we flew down to Kitty Hawk for the 100th aniversary of flight

We went to Kitty Hawk a few years ago. They have a great display and good presentation of the history.

I was surprised to find out that Kitty Hawk was NOT where the Wrights had their first flight, but was just the location of the nearest telegraph office.
