My spare tire rim is rusted out and wont hold air after it was drowned in the trunk for who knows how long.
I have searched for one of these also but cant find one, anybody got any laying around?
That looks like a nobby tire on a bad bundt. I would be concerned about the battery compartment to the right of this picture. The spare tire well would also be of concern. These have drains, that if not properly maintained, are the stuff of nightmares.
Yea, the spare well and the rest of the trunk is coated with thick paint/undercoating and only has the rust colored residue and wiped right off.
The battery box is where the rust is at and the rim, I have lightly sand blasted the box and going to coat it with POR 15. It is only surface rust started where corrosion from the battery was. Looks a lot worse than it is.
On a side note, it turns out that the Foxy little Jody has a rim, off of her 280 she is so kind to let me have for shipping cost, we were wondering if it will fit on my 450?
And whats the story on the different lug nuts that fit the spare?

You have steel wheels mounted, and a steel spare in the trunk. They use the same lug bolt. Pics of Daryn's car show alloy wheels mounted, and his comments indicate he has a steel spare. Which means somethings been changed over the years. Either the alloys were added or the spare's been swapped. Alloy wheels use a longer bolt than the steel. Not an issue for you.

Sorry, I didnt read your post from last night, I do understand the lug nut thing.
I was more focused on learning whether the 280 rims were the same as mine.
All I know is the spare not in my trunk has a factory stamp and even original balancing weights leading me to believe it may have either came with the car or the slipshod mechanic the previous owner used stole the thing. I think these guys charged the previous owner like 600$ in 1995 for a brake job or something unbelievable.
Don't give me a hard time if my spelling and grammar doesn't always add up b/c I could care less. I just try to offer my input nomatter how lousy it may be.

Everybody's input is important, daryn.
But you SHOULD care about how you represent yourself.

I participate in a lot of tech forums involving people who do a lot of work at the keyboard and on the Internet. If someone posts to one of them without caring enough to make it readable, he's ignored on the grounds that, "If he doesn't care enough to spend his time making it so I can read it, then I'm not going to spend my time to read or reply."
How we present ourselves says a lot about not only who we are, but what kind of respect we have for those we are communicating with.
If it helps, I can always explain how hard it is for me to post clearly, but Dig would then feel obligated to tell us about being on Woody Wilson and having gas problems.
