Does this look right to you guys for a "73 slc". All I did was reach under the car and snapped my camera a couple of times, so wondering if this is the right part and is it fixed right?
PS If it is right it would have to have been repaired over 17 years age I think.

Ah that magic feeling of being post mortgage and zero debt. (between repairs)
cool, I'll have to go and check out the yard when I get some time, especially when the ground is dry. I going to be picky and wait for a nice 14inch bundt, I think one of my wheels might be kinked on the inside of the rim so it would be a good spare.

Here are some photos of the subframe I got out of the 79 SLC at the junk yard. I think it looks like the previous owner brought the car in for the recall. The subframe looks much different than Ussun's and mine. Could anyone who had their subframe done by Mercedes from the recall confirm this for me?
Thanks,
just an fyi...called my local MB dealer here in NYC asked them about the recall, set up an AM appointment and dropped off the SLC. Got a call later on that same afternoon and apparently, MB USA is no longer honoring the S/L Recall campaign #191185120001...according to them this is an expired campaign and it's actually VIN# specific, not model specific...just thought I'd share before anyone wastes their time. Would love to find out if anyone had a different experience.
