Great discusion guys and much appreciated, even if you do get a bit carried away I am not anticipaiting needing a top soon but appreciate the info. In Fl sun the big thing is window and what we boat ownners use { insin glas } may be too stiff for a 107 top. If mine is a true example the M B tops sure hold up well. Mine looks new and I believe it may be original , '88.

Aha! I think it might be vinyl, not cloth.
That would look cheesy indeed.

Update: the seller confirmed it is vinyl @ this price.

Maybe it wouldn't look TOO bad, but you'd have to wonder how long it would last.

Some things are just TOO cheap.
