If we take a left on your road, you're the 5th driveway on the left, not that far from the lake shore, correct? (Amazing what one sees from a sleek little red rocketship!)
5 houses, l boulevard, 1 house then Lake St. Clair. 606 feet. Actually, now I can see that the address shows in the pic. And you thought you were so clever. Did you see the other 2 SLs on my block?
I don't have anyone on my ignore list here. I only have one person on my ignore list anywhere. Weird thing is, as far as I can tell he's a nice, friendly and helpful guy. I just get irrationally irritated by his avatar and can't look at it.
What surprised me was not only that I could find Groom Lake (Area 51) on the map -- that it wasn't blacked out or something, but that the images are of the 2nd highest resolution available through Google (and likely to the public). You can clearly see the Janet planes and most buildings quite clearly. It's even possible to identify the plane models.
You'll actually get information on the different objects. It's through Wikimapia, which uses Google maps (but for all the Earth, not just for North America) and people have identified buildings that have gone up in the past few years. Kind of interesting for a government base that doesn't exist -- which may put it in the same class as Nobby's vagina!
