You want an sl buy an sl, you want an slc get an slc, but don't butcher the thing. This is where a little something called class comes in. It doen't take too much thought to cut the roof off a car. You notice everyone who does it is immediately selling the thing, I wonder why. To basterdise such a beautiful car to make it something it isn't, come on.
Who cares about safety if you can roll an slc you deserve to get killed. If I ever had a convertable I wouldn't have a roll bar unless I raced it and that was a regulatation. That's what I really like about the cars from the sixties is that they had little/no safety measure which should make you a better driver because if you know the dash will be in your lap if you crash it, you'll probably avoid crashing your car.

Yeah! Nascar Fan and I talked that a while back. He did laps at Memphis Motorsports. I ran ten laps at California Speedway at 180 on the straights. 3rd best rush I ever had.
