I don't think 107 owners put them on the grille...at least I don't recall seeing any. It has been suggested that they are sometimes attached to the rear of the car but this was never demonstrated to me via pics. What part of the car would I drill into to attach it??? Yikes!
I've also heard of attaching it to the dash somehow but I won't even put the cupholders on the door so I can't imagine that being an option.
I fear that if I get one of these awards, it will end up in the sock drawer.
BTW...If you look closely at the pic of the interior (avoid staring directly at the ugly radio, it may cause blindness), you can see the dash crack repairs I've discussed previously. There are two that are side by side in this pic at the left end of the right defroster vent between the vent and the windshield.
I've asked this before but didn't get a definitive response.
As my 107 approaches 155k (currently at 140k and rising fast), I am curious about where to affix the grille badge.

Tie tack, cuff links, earring, the possibilities are endless. Get another grill star and put it on a chain and you could even go hip-hop with it.

Option 1:Scott the woodworker could make you a beautiful wooden base upon which you could mount it and then use it as a paperweight.
Option 2: Paste a christmas tree hook to the back and add it to the yule bush as a decoration. This will also remind the family why you couldn't afford more expensive presents for them.
Option 3: Throw it away because it may discourage a buyer due to high mileage if you go to sell the car.

I'm seeing many layers of wood, alternating mahogany and maple, laminated up into a block about 1" thick. Then a simple acrylic stand coming up to hold the badge.
Maybe put some LED lighting into the base, under the acrylic, so it lights up.
