How is it falling down?
There's the plastic tab on the visor and slot in the post above the window. You can buy new sets for this for $50 or so. I don't remember where I've seen them, but I have. If I can find it when I get home, I'll post it. Or you can search e-Bay for them.
There's the visor staying swiveled in the position you want, and there's no part to replace for that. There's a screw on the visor that you tighten down until you get a good amount of friction holding the visor up or down.
Then there's the ball that the whole visor swings from, and there's no part to replace for that, either. There's a screw behind the big ball that you tighten (and it doesn't hurt to lubricate the assembly while you're in there). To remove the visor and get to the screw, just remove the rear view mirror by grabbing it and pulling it off. Undo the three screws you'll find holding the metal base in, then find the other screws holding the outside of that upper trim piece. 5 screws in all, and both passenger and driver side trim comes off. Then you'll be able to see the two screws holding the visors in place. Remove them and the visor falls off. On the back of each visor is a screw that will tighten the pivot ball.

yea, it seems like it is the ball which is the part which isnt allowing enough tension, the plastic tab part and the slot doent seem like they were designed to support the weight of the visor, thus i have concluded its the steel parts, so i will take apart as u have suggested, thanks...

Would one of you imaginative guys figure a way to install the visors from, say a 190E in a 107? I don't have ANY visors. I don't have $400 for EACH visor and even the ones on Ebay are usually pretty expensive. I can get visors from an old E class for 20 bucks.

You can buy replicas (minus the vanity mirror) for about $100 but they are kind of cheesy and not worth half of that.
How come MB can't provide a durable, inexpensive visor like the rest of the automotive world? Ooops, sorry Scott, I forgot they are the ubermasters of engineering.
The $100 ones don't have the hardware. You buy them and use your old hardware...which I don't have.
I know a couple of places out here that have wrecked 107s. Tomorrow I'm supposed to pick up my new upholstery (HOORAY!) and I'll swing by and see if they've still got their visors. If they do I'll see what kind of price they want for them.
If they're less than $50 for both, do you want them?
