Knobby and ScottinSoCal

Would you guys just keep your dialogue running in this thread - maybe they can make it a sticky - because the two of you are a great source of entertainment and motivation to get off my rear and go out and do something to my cars. It's so hard to chase down these great exchanges in all the other threads.

Thank you, thank you. We'll be here all week. Try the veal.

Whew. (pant, pant) Just came in from the garage. Do you know it took me and my neighbor 7 beers to get the wheels off? Hope he comes to help again.
Sorry I missed this thread earlier, Smack. You are very kind.

Knobby, could this neighbor and 12 pack be the reason its harder to work on your car and easier (without them) to be an aircraft mechanic. Zeplin, Floyd and the Moody Blues stimulates maintenance activities.

Who is supplying the beer ? If you figure a 12 pack for wheel removal, how much, in beer, would it cost to do some of the more cleverly complicated projects? I have some experience in the added cost and sometimes wonder if taking it to a mechanic wouldn't be cheaper. But I know it wouldn't be as satisfying. The bad part is that I maintain and repair German engineered equipment at work and while the machines are amazing, they weren't designed with service in mind,
Plus we can't drink beer , so it's not as much fun.

In the past, those bands would have stimulated the purchase of rollie papers.
