Power stearing fluid leaking

After fixing a fuse in my car, I find out that I am losing some type of fluid by the fron of my car; I am not sure but I believe it is power stearing fluid, any suggestion? any way to fix the problem? thanks.

R107SL, are you sure it's the power steering pump or box? You've got a transmission fluid cooler in the front as well. Are you using ATF in the steering system as many do or power steering fluid? Fluid color? Start with the simplest first...

o Inspect power steering pump fluid level; if below the fill mark, add the correct fluid and make sure cap nut is snug when you put the cap back on

o Wipe down the power steering pump and hoses with a degreaser; same on the hose fittings at the trans cooler(drivers side by the radiator) check to see if the connections are snug.

Drive the car for a couple days and check the PS fluid again and examine pump, hoses, cooler lines etc for fresh fluid. When you park, if you can, put a piece of cardboard under the the trans cooler, PS pump, and steering box to try to catch where the leak is coming from. Post what you find out and I'm sure lot's of folks will jump in to help.
