Air won`t blow from center vents, only from defrost and side vents on dash??? - Benzworld.org

I have a 1981 380 SLC, and the air doesn`t blow from the middle three vents. It blows from the two side vents and from the defrost. This is the case with any button I press on the vent/heater control unit.
How can I make it blow from the center ducts?

The center vents are for A/C only, they don't work for heat.

Thanks!!! I guess that`s the problem then. I`m trying to get my AC to work still.

If the center vents NEVER work, in any position of the climate control, (heat, A/C, vent) you might have a vacuum problem, or a sensor signal blockage. There are many posts concerning this problem. Good Luck
