Paint code?
Hi again, all. Another question. So I've found the color I want this beast painted, but I'm thinking I should really have a paint code instead of saying "It's a Mercedes bluish-greenish color." just to make sure that the color I want is the color that actually gets put onto the car.
I don't know if it's period appropriate for my 78 450SL, I found the color on a car on e-Bay, a 1980s 380SL. But with the Palamino interior it looks incredible, and it's the color I want. The e-Bay ad described it as teal. Does anyone know what the code would be for that? Or can you point me in a direction where I can find it? I'd really love to find a place that has all the Mercedes colors with sample chips, but I don't know if there is such a thing. Maybe there's a color out there that looks better and I just haven't seen it yet....
Any help most appreciated.

Just enter the make and year you want. You may be thinking "Petrol Blue Green Metallic", code 877.

Excellent! That's exactly what I was hoping for. Thank you very much.
And now I know that the unfortunate color it is now is either English Red or Cayenne Orange. Either way, it was unfortunate.

That's a very good-looking SL.

Yeah, well, that was about the time I discovered tequila, and it was before I'd seen "what kind of oil should I use?" 57,322 times.
