I registered my 1973 450 SL with the MB Classic Center. On doing so, they informed me of a 21 year old service recall on my 33 year old car. I took it into my local MB dealer and they didn't bat an eye. They ordered the parts and did the work today. Now I understand why people buy Mercedes.

Blimey! And you know what`s also brilliant? That 33 years after the car was made the parts were there to order.

How/Where did you register it?
I'we been trying to findout if my SLC has been checked for same recall (subframe) and no luck!
