All the other things he describes, I get from my 107. Rust bubble and all.
The way he talks about how it makes you feel is a large part of why I have a 107 as my DD. From looking at people in their "Euro-boxes" and all, it's just well put about how I feel. When I drive my SL, I don't care if people are looking at me and noticing me or not. I care that *I* am in a car with a sense of style, class, and elegance that just doesn't seem to exist in cars today.
Man was it hot out. Went to the Sikorsky bike and car show. There was so many cops it was rediculous. But the show was good. John only brought Dalila. We chatted for a while then it really got to hot out to just hang out so I followed him to check out if the V12 was really real and it is. Man I wish I had a little gargage like he's got set up. The beast sounds to incredible to disscribe. I want a V12. in mine. Oh well maybe if I save $12000.00 he'll put one in mine.
Omg u still haven't done your doors
I recently pulled the Visco fan+electric aircon fan out of my car and replaced them with a electric 16" one and while doing that i changed over my air intake filter.....the changes made so much difference i had to actually do a datalog run for my Megasquirt!!
But yeah on a side note my father wants to steal my automatic from my car for my moms car, a 1973 350SL, which has the same automatic as mine, which means i now will be replacing the 3 speed slushy sooner rather then later it seems. Already have the alloy plate that are standard in out cars at a Automatic shop been compared by the guys there to see if they can think of a 5+speed that will fit with out to many major mods. They are also ment to be getting it measured up properly so i can post on the "Powertrain Control Solutions" forums to see if they have any good thoughts.

Well I'm still waiting for the doors to get done. Should be later this month. Saved enough money for antenna and the doors so all extra funs are going into next years projects that I'm going to do.
1) still have to seal sunroof and hood vents (both are driving me crazy) from water intake.
2) fix the two dash speaker covers.
3) maybe get the slc interior roof redone.
4)etc. does it ever end.
Well today I had my wheels changed to my old 14" bundts. For the door surgery and for winter. Got a oil change and a new windshield washer hose from the bottle to the pump. The old one keep coming off.
Picked up the car drove about 1/2 mile and smoke all over scared me to death. Started cursing everyone till I realized it was just a little oil over spill.
Back to waiting for Bruce to call, that he's ready to pick her up.
Good good good, its progressing along nicely then. Cant wait to see those doors, i want to know if they are easy to install, and how good/bad they make the car look when the doors are open
Hey Ussun, do u have AMG tubular headers on your car that go 4-1 3" pipe each side, if so can u post a pick of them? still trying to figure out if the guy thats trying to sell me his is legit about them
