So.... thanks to Rowdie (Your check is on the way) the tail lights are going in today. He sent me complete snips of the "72" parts car he had. As soon as I got there, they started to go in. I'll post pics in a little while. They have alredy cut and welded I guess every thing else. I gave Steve some ongoing cash. So I'm realy happy to see the progress, instead of all the rust bubbles that where there.
He knowns. He did all the work in there last time I had it paints. It's not needed to do this time I guess. Last time all the screw where lost and where hard to repalce. So I guess he'll do that if needed just before painting.
Last time was the complete chrome off, lights out and major sand down.
This time it's replacing steel and he's using fiberglass instead of bondo. Arylic black instead on polyurethane paint. With clear coating, last time I had found out wasn't done at all. I know you can say what a mess but accually things are going really good and I'm really happy about it. I have been hand on, when I can, it helps.
You got to remember also last time my car was the first car painted in that shop. So he wasn't that set up then. Now it's been hundreds through.
