I bought it from a guy that works with me so I know it has a new rear end, new 4 wheel brakes w/calipers and lines, complete new tuning, no rust, complete tow system w/trailer braking system. Plus if ANYTHING brakes he'll fix it. He was a machanic for 7 years before coming to work for us. So I feel confiate. Plus my ins. went down $40 buck just for buying it.

Ah that magic feeling of being post mortgage and zero debt. (between repairs)
Well here are the bubble pics pre-repainting. They should make you feel good about your cars.
HOLY SHIT, Mark!
I thought you had some small inconspicuous spot.
That's not water, that's RUST!
He better button the baby up better this time. That's ridiculous (depending on how much you paid to get her done in the first place). And he better do it for nothing.

Oh, and Duggie, Mark's got a gem there. '95 chevy 1/2 ton is bulletproof. I have the Z71 p/u and other than some issues with the rockers and doors rusting, that is THE most reliable truck ever made, IMO...

Well, my '97 is a total POS. AC, windshield wipers, PS, water pump, alternator, transfer case, ABS, door locks ....you name it ..... have all broken during its gentle 100,000 miles.
No wonder GM went bankrupt.
Ihave a 94 F150 I bought new with 90K miles. I just spent about 1200,00 on it. the first I have spent. It now has 4 new tires a major tune up, brakes and transmission serviced. Sadly it sits outside as the Benz brothers take up the GAH rage.
It was so nice out today I had my slc all clean by 8am for a day of cruzzin. My friend bob and I went to check out all the beaver traps he set for the town of Yorktown NY (they have beaver problems and at $800.00 a pop) but all he caught today was a 60lbs snapping turtle in a drain. Turtle soup tuesday .
But besides that the foliage was unbelieveble and the Yankees even better.
Hope you guys got out today and cruzed instead of working on them.

I had Delilah out to work yesterday. I need a good dry weekend to do some brake bedding with my new Ceramic pads on Samson.

I payed $3000.00 the first time.
Just to log on this thead, I've been having a lot of problems with my remote door lock system, we had to go into the truck and turn the manuel sunroof nut to get into her. My machanic fixed it all and took out the remote mechanizim. ($85.00) He also by mistake cracked my windshield while tring to get into the car when the doors where all locked shut. I'm not going to get the windshield fix now. It will have to wait till I get a new or used windshield and after the repaint. As it stands now she'll be going to the paint shop on Tuesday the 3rd of Nov. at All Star Sound in Fishkill NY. It's for a tape and sand paint job with Black acylic paint and poly clear coats. Boy am I hoping all goes well......
