Does anyone have their car in DB931 Metallic Blue or DB932 Lapis Blue?

Help needed.
Does anyone have their car in DB931 Metallic Blue or DB932 Lapis Blue?
If so, i'd appreciate very much if you could post a picture of it.

BRNN53 has posted some his his Lapis Blue, and very nice it is too
However i came across this car in a google search, and am trying to ascertain it's code. It appears similar BRNN53's although perhaps a little lighter. (apologies if this is your car)

My car painter mixed up a bit of 932 Lapis, and it seems similar to the colour of the rear left wing in the attached pic.

Any help very much appreciated before i take the plunge and confirm 932.

regards,
Paul

Mine is DB931

Hi,

Here's to hoping my attachment skills are working......

My paint code is DB931 - "Magnetite Blue". I'm not certain, but I believe MB went to a nautical blue color later and magnetite blue was no longer offered.

Thanks, lovely car, parked in just the right spot too

That certainly looks like the colour he mixed today. It was a lovely 'sunny day' blue..with a jus hint of green in it. I nearly plumped for it right away..but am holding out to see if they can identify the colour in the pic, which does seem to have a hint of grey in comparison to 931.
Am hoping its an original SL colour too. I believe the change u mentioned took place between 78-81. My car is a 79, so perhaps i could legitimately claim a choice..

regards,
Paul

i found another..

Found on ebay. A '75 450SL in this colour...now if i could only identify the colour!

VIN: WDB10704412025074

Unfortunately it being a '75, the Russian MB Club decoder doesn't work. I did contact the seller - yet to receive a reply.

Can anyone help with a colour identification?

regards,
Paul

how many shades of nautical blue ARE there?

Now i'm getting confused.
This link below is a 380SL US version on ebay. The VIN decodes as db929 Nautical Blue, and the seller intimates its original paint. Its clearly different from either Eric's shade or the others i posted.
How is this?
