did you import it yourself from switzerland?
Yes, after having been living abroad for four years, I improted it (together with my E-class and a Harley Davidson) to my home country Sweden where I live now. Since Swizerland is not within the EU, normally I would have to pay import taxes, but I after having been living abroad for more than a year, you can import all your vehicles (within some reasonable limit I would assume) without having to pay any taxes.
here is my sl, i think is 2.8lt but I'm not sure. The car has the 6cyl engine but the previous owner took the car to germany in 1988(as his wife told me) for tuning to AMG. I m not sure if they changed the volume in the cylinders.
Had this thread been named "Post a picture of your 107 thread", all of us with SLCs would not have felt left out. Here's a pic of mine anyway. A 1973 350SLC "euro" spec which means high compression and no anti-pollution junk to cripple it. I have owned it for almost 22 years now. Needs a bit of rust work and some paint, but despite high kilometres has been reliable and is unburstable. Still enjoy "driving" it, as you can see in the photo!
