Real deal brass AMG 107 badges are kind of rare if that's what you seek. This one sits on my desk bc my 450slc 5.0 has badges on both sides and I've decided not to try and AMG up my 280sl despite putting recaros in it and also having the front air dam.

For steering wheels search German eBay. That's how I got mine. They got for about ?300 and shipping to US is another $40-60. Waiting time is usually about 4-6 weeks. Look for "w107 lenkrad" "atiwe lenkrad"
"Ati lenkrad" "silberpfeil lenkrad". I've used google translate to translate the listings. Most of the sellers communicate in English

Wonder if you could have the Fonz scan that emblem then go find a laser or waterjet guy. I would like a scan myself. Im doing a Amg lookalike myself. How much for a scan Mike?

I actually do all the maintenance on the 3D printers at my school (University of San Diego) and we have a full machine shop with laser cutters and CNCs. If I had exact dimensions I could get some made either laser cut or 3D printed. Not a bad idea.

Fonzi. How tall is that emblem? There are a couple of AMG emblems. The larger one is not for the 107. My 107 is approx. 1.26" tall.

I'm coming up with 1 3/16" tall. I have a larger chrome w126 badge on my 1985 500se. This one was coated in a thick black plastic-rubber-like coating that was difficult to remove. The coating that I assume was original had already been damaged at the edges. So I figured it had to come off. Even after soaking in paint stripper, it was a lot of work to get it all off.

The width at the widest point is 6 15/16". The pegs are about 5 1/8" apart (on center)... but off centered. LOL

The trick to get plasti dip off (rubberized spray paint) is to spray it with WD-40, and it will wipe away.

It wasn't plasti-dip. It was more like real plastic.
