watching the AL GA game on PC, then I see the sky and "shutting down."
I disconected from the internet checked for new files and ran spybot, found em. It created a new svchost and an encoded folder and actually made all my HD partitions except C "unallocated." Had a new process called svchost*32.
The files would delete if I stopped the process but kept popping back. Spybot would remove it but it would also come back. It kept wanting to go to websites.
Anyway, I copied my important files to an ext HD, then went on line to find a cure.
Eset online scan, and kapersky free TDDSkiller, killed the dam thing finally. I had to delte the new svchost.exe manually
all good now, boy that was exciting

oh btw, I actually got my paritions all back with the files in place. wonder how in the hell a virus makes partitions (logical drves) look unallocated in disk management?
