Marmite is a beef extract and Vegemite a yeast extract. Marmite is crap but Vegemite is yummy and definitely non toxic. I just had some on my crumpets.

Yes they are, the Mrs had and email from their sports Minister last week and it reeked of misery , anyways a New Zealander I know would alway said : Marmite for men, Vegemite for virgins .
Rubbish - that's just a cultural view. My kids loved Marmite.
Back in the day, Marmite used to carry a warning on its label. "Too much spoils the flavour". It's no longer there - I imagine the marketing men got rid of that.
