Yes, on may points. Some I assert are completely incorrect, and others are incorrect in magnitude and importance.
I think the largest issue is a combination of the increased population (and hence population density) on both sides, combined with much greater destructive capability of weapons, and much greater distribution of news globally.
What most who care to make this a modern problem fail to grasp, is that the Jewish People have been in that area for centuries. This is not a recent change.
The Palestinian people have lived under others rule for centuries, never having their own land. Israel is the first sovereign nation on that land in modern history. It is and always has been open to people of all religions, and the restrictions have been created ONLY to address the nearly constant threat of terrorism and violence perpetrated on the citizens of Israel by those (supposedly) supporting the surrounding Arab/Muslim nations and the Palestinian People.
