I have made that decision.
I am not here to convince you, but instead to show you what the Christian beliefs are.
We see actions of that trinity I had mentioned in our lives on a near daily basis. It tells me there IS a connection there. I've spoken of some of the miracles, and answered prayers in the past and in my "Warning" post. These don't come from an angry God who is mad at me for believing as I do, but you need to decide.
I suggest you take the time to read through Matthew, Mark, Luke or John, but also the book of Acts for an after Christ timeline, and Pauls (previously Saul) actions, conversion, and travels.

Invention? Doesn't the highlighted sentence mean Jesus was created by God. Just like every other creature was created? The God I believe in creates but never gets created/invented.

The fact is, no matter which God you speak to, this God is only in your head and is not factual or real. No God is real or factual. There is no actual foolproof way of determining this.

Here is a quick reference of the Old Testament prophecies relating to the coming Jesus(messiah) of the New Testament. Talk of the upcoming messiah actually starts clear back in the first book of Genesis. This site is a short list of more specific prophecies, and yet there were hundreds of references which were not necessarily prophetic, but descriptive.

God always was.It is an eternity concept.
As a real world example, (and kind of a poor one) energy always was. It cannot be destroyed, but just transformed, it always existed by scientific theory.
