As far as this case goes, the cross was ordered removed by the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals, not the ACLU, the ACLU has no real power to do anything except to sue, why are you so frightened of them? These things go before a court, where both sides are heard. Are you against a person's right to sue in court? What is this imagined power you think the ACLU has? It can't accomplish anything unless a jury and/or a court agrees, isn't your real fear that when challenged in court, you nuts know you won't have snowball's chance in the Mojave Desert? Myself, I like to hike in the Mojave, I don't want to be prozelitzed by you kooks and your mythological religions while I am trying to enjoy park land meant for everyone, even agnostics and athiests.
