McCain the best? Pleeaasse, If you can remember that far back you might recall I said not one of the THREE was worth the dynamite it would take to blow them away.

Clinton, thought she was the anointed one and would walk away with it. It might have happened to if you guys didn’t come up with another minority.

OweBama, was and is a waste of time in a suit, There is someone pulling his strings, and we may find out just who before it’s all over. He is in so far over his head, he doesn’t know which way to turn. At least part of the electorate voted for him because of "white guilt", and no, that's not a prejudiced statement, it's a fact like it or not. Clinton had better credentials than he did for what little that means, it doesn’t say much for him at all.

McCain, a weak kneed RINO that is more interested in getting along than he is in providing any meaningful leadership. A decent enough person. But the leader of a country, I don’t think so.

As far as I see it the loss of the WH was a given, history has proven that at least as far back as before FDR. I see OweBama as a one term President with the Republicans getting the WH back, The Congress is another story, but you guys shouldn’t get too comfortable, with the unemployment rate still going up, people will remember who was in charge when the bottom dropped out.

Let me remind you of two names----- Nancy Patricia D'Alesandro Pelosi, and Harry Mason Reid, is that the best YOU got?
I haven't see much leadership there, and as for transparency, I guess if she doesn’t want to talk about it, that is as transparent as it gets….

Let me remind you of one more name, Tom Foley, I quote from Wiki “his defeat in the 1994 Congressional elections made him the first sitting Speaker since 1860 not to win re-election to Congress.”

Ya, you have some real leadership material on your side of the aisle as well…………

It has nothing to do with intellectuals, it has to do with specialists in a field. At some point you might understand the difference. I do. And I did not expect you to even see what I meant by my response. Thanks for proving me correct. You post these background tidbits to give your assertions more credibility is my point. You want us to take what you say as gospel because of the PHD students' discussion. You want us to believe your analysis because of your years of experience in Systems Anal-ysis. Yet when we look at what you say, it rarely bears out under common sense. When this is pointed out you redfine, obfuscate, and mischaracterize what is being said.

As for the difference between NOW and Clinton, it is too great to place in the simple metrics that the PEW study provides. As an example, in 1993, there was no Internet, blogging, minimal cable news, minimal news sourcing and much more of our news was via print which is edited different than instant cable. And they say all of that. Another example of common sense breaking in on your analysis that is colored by your bias.

Also, we have a difference in the way the three Presidents use the media. If we use Clinton as a control X for the amount of media exposure, times he provided press conferences and times he gave televised appearances in the first 100 days and compare that to Bush who would be 1/3X and Obama who is 3X. Those factors also are integral to the coverage. The flood of information that we have coming from this White House provides a different perspective. And the study goes into how they measured what they did. No matter how you want to obfuscate, and misdirect with this statement, the nature of the media's stories are clear.

As for accountability for Obama's campaign promises, there are two things. Using the Sunshine issue as one example, the media did cover it and apparently that is now addressed. Regarding many of the other promises, they are more long term, in process items that are not at their end game so, only those in "opposition" jump in and declare them failures before they have had time to run their course. Most of what is called mainstream media don't do that. Their analysts might report that things are taking longer than hoped but not that they are failures as we don't know, at this point what the results are.And again the PEW study talks about this in its study yet you completely disregard what they are saying in order to bolster "your guy."

As for the KIDS issue, the only time the kids were brought into the media discussion was when the candidate had brought them in first. Even after tabloids tried first, mainstream did not break it until Palin brought stuff up. Now, comics did, blogs did, forums did, tabloids did but media did not give it coverage until the campaign brought the family into the game. And both candidates did the same thing and both candidates were treated much differently. The mainstream certainly trumpeted the sick left wing bloggers crap. "Oh we're not agreeing with them, we are just trying to show you the whole picture." Bullshit. Anything that could be used against Palin and McCain was used. The treatment of Obama was lopsided and the media has even admitted it post election, not to mention the PEW study.
So again, nice try.
