GM medium-duty truck RIP

Converted to sissy hybrids.

Quote:
WARREN, Mich. (Dow Jones)--Bankrupt General Motors Corp. (GMGMQ) said Monday it will cancel its medium-duty truck line at the end of July after failing to find a buyer for the Flint, Mich.-built line.

...
As a result, the Chevy Kodiak and GMC Topkick trucks will join a host of other GM models that are being unceremoniously cut as the company tries to make itself leaner and meaner for the vehicle market's new realities.

To fill some of the void, GM plans to add smaller, more fuel efficient vehicles to its lineup, including hybrids and electric cars.

It's better for the planet, or is that a bad thing? You know, like un-American or something

I have to say the TopKick was one of the stupidest applications I have ever seen. It was nothing but a rich boy toy tonka truck. I am shocked they didn't just come in Yellow.

Just got back from Wal-Mart. Could've used one in the parking lot to clear a path.

Nah, wait till the price drops and get a used one...cheap.
The sales will fall like the H-1. Then you can buy one cheap and afford the fuel this dog will consume.
