Ding Ding Ding, we have a winner. M102 and M103 ignition coils were known to "delaminate" and cause all sorts of problems. You could be dying at idle and running like a bat out of hell WOT, or you could be running like a bad out hell at idle and dying at WOT. Same as makes no difference, definitely check your coil. All $49.99 goes to p100. If it's not the coil, then take it to Mercedes and get the ICU checked out.

If your suggestion fixes the problem then you will get $50. So far this problem has lasted one year and not a single suggestion from any of the forums has provided a solution that eliminated this stalling.

Ok, here's what you do. Take the car to a local garage that has a 4 post lift...this is very important. Now, take the lift all the way up to the top and inspect everything underneath. Next, have someone park a 107 with your name on the title underneath it.

Problem solved...no more problems with the baby benz

I'm not a real dickhead...but I acted like one in high school.

I have a spare computer and that didn't make a difference. The coil biznez will be checked today and if P100 is correct he will get the loot.

Never heard that.(hate mechanics as well, but sometimes we get stuck)
Coil sounds like a good start, but try the water misting too. Even when things run fairly well, the arching can happen.
