Perhaps she is not an intellectual elite after all.
Who said anything about fame or envy. She was a managing senior partner for a global consulting company. That is average money for that gig.

And apparently you are the only one attaching the "intellectual elite" moniker, though I would imagine that she would qualify as she would have to be both an intellect to do that job and in that rare air capacity she is definitely elite.

Probably some truth in this, just like the Clintons, a mutually beneficial relationship exists together with the independence.

Quote:
At the same time, she was busy moving up the McKinsey ladder—leading the company’s work for New York’s Senator Charles Schumer and Mayor Michael Bloomberg regarding the global competitiveness of New York and U.S. financial services, for instance—which Rockefeller would later claim was partially owing to the unspoken influence of his name “whenever it was to her advantage,” as he told the Today show after his capture. “She usually did so in a very understated way, calling special attention to it by keeping it extra quiet. Sort of the, quote, ‘Psst, she is married to a Rockefeller.’ She is the youngest woman ever to be elected to being a director of McKinsey & Company. And many of her colleagues, who were friendly with me, believed it had a lot to do with me and my name.” A friend adds, “Everybody knew she was married to a Rockefeller. And she could be all modest about it and act like she didn’t care, but she cared.” (Through her spokesman, Sandra Boss insists that she never used her husband’s name to advance her professional standing.)

Not so.

She characterized herself as emotionally naive.

What's wrong with this picture? Please read what I posted. Your comment that she characterized herself as emotionally naive has NOTHING to do with any of the characteristics of her business persona. The comment is incongruous.

Not really. Good justification for supporting Obama? Definitely emotional responses to that guy on the part of his supporters.

"She was questioned at length about one particularly bizarre story he told. He said a fall down some stairs left him mute as a child -- until he saw a dog and spontaneously uttered "woofness" at age 10. She did acknowledge on the stand that she considered "woofness" to be a "stupid word."

Don't we have a woof on BWOT?
