Immoral? Mayhaps. But nothing Botnst speaks to supports any criminality on the part of said doctor.

Laws come and go. People have beliefs that transcend laws and on occasion, people act on them. Sometimes for reasons of personal advancement and sometimes for the greater glory of society or god or what have you. I think we could benefit from a reflection on Dostoyevsky.

The biggest problems we are facing right now have to do with George Bush trying to bring more and more power into the executive branch and not go through Congress at all and thats what I intend to reverse.

So you're a defacto supporter of vigilantism and murder. Good to know.

Bye the bye, once is a typo, twice is poor spelling.

So the doctor's not a criminal. Thanks for clearing that up.

Ah, morality. Now that's an interesting topic.

Laws are morals, codified. Before Roe, morality placed the value of the baby's life as greater than the will of the mother. After Roe, the mother's will transcended the baby's value. Sic transit gloria.

On a parallel course, prior to Roe today's murderer might have been regarded as saving the baby's life. After Roe, clearly not. Sic transit gloria.

Maybe the murderer was living in a different time and acting in our own?

Laws and society are fickle. Culture is conservative. Law and society changed, resulting in Roe. Culture is still shifting. Mind you don't get caught in the turnstile.

Don't think I wrote that, but maybe the lights dimmed in your house for a moment.

I do the think the man was incredibly persistent and stubborn who knew he was playing in a high-risk business and his death is a loss for all.

Obama has the FBI, NSA, CIA and a dozen other organizations at his fingertips. It is possible that he DOES know more than the officers doing the investigation.

And yes, we can assume if they have information they will all play nice and share.

Someone snapped.
Reason yet unknown, but the odds were against Tiller, in that he was overdue to piss off some loon, sooner or later. Oddly it wasn't sooner.

It's wrong to do what happened, but inevitable at some point that someone would come unglued .

There are those 10 Commandments, well, 10 Suggestions or Guidelines that recommend that thou shall not KILL. Whether one believes that the Doctor was guilty of murder or not is up to two entities. The US Judicial System which says NO, he was doing nothing wrong, not murdering, not killing and then there is that biblical arbiter. Now, if you believe the bible, it would be GOD who would take care of the doctor when he gets to the pearly gates. MAN has no voice in that.

But it is good to see the Christianity threads have kicked up a notch.
