1. I think they would counter that viability and beginning are different and that most of them are interested in beginning, not in viability.
2. Both sides agree that the other side is imposing beliefs with which they completely disagree. IMO both sides are exactly right on this issue, but fail to see themselves as a contributor to the problem -- it's all the other guy.
My hope is that abortion will remain available as a legal issue but that each state and municipality can adjust the rules to reflect the local sentiment. Much as we deal with porno.
The biggest problems we are facing right now have to do with George Bush trying to bring more and more power into the executive branch and not go through Congress at all and that’s what I intend to reverse.
