Going back to the OP, I've not yet seen an example of "hate speech" provided. Is this about someone with thin skin who is uncomfortable with having their beliefs challenged (or decimated, as it were)? Or is it about actual hate speech?
I think that term - hate speech - is applied far too liberally, and usually by conservatives (go figure), almost always about religion.
By bringing to light the intolerance, prejudice, and hypocrisy that are alive and well in their religious breeding grounds - of all stripes, not just Christianity - we're not inciting people to HATE everyone of a given religion, or to cause them harm, or to treat them with prejudice. I believe that to be the standard for hate speech, and I don't think you'll find a single post from the non-religious side of the debate that crosses the line.
To the contrary, the absolute idiocy, ignorance, and bigotry (to accompany the intolerance, prejudice, and hypocrisy) exhibited by the religious zealots here of late would do more to drive away good people than becoming intolerant of those who are sick to the teeth of the influence religion has over our country.
If hypocrites like the ones who have chimed in here, and these other bozos who don't even know their own book but want to tell you how you're fucked for not believing it want to disappear, good riddance. In my opinion, that is.
