Regardless as to whether or not you believe in God, the issue that I am raising with Dope is the Atheist view that they are superior to people of faith because of their "reasoning."
My whole point is that no matter the reasoning, the amount of brain power, or what have you, science can not answer the fundamental question of how life began.
Atheists will argue that faith does not answer the question to their satisfaction either. To which I and other people of faith respond "It's ok."
All I ask is that atheists like Dope respect our views as we respect theirs.
What Dope kept illustrating is that he can not allow his views to stand on their own without denigrating those of people of faith.
The view that their is no God is completely acceptable as a belief. But if you believe that then you must understand that there are people just as intelligent, just as educated, and there are those who are more intelligent and more educated, that believe there is a God.
Reinforcing your own beliefs by tricking yourself into believing the other side is inferior is exactly what the KKK does, the Nazi's, and every other single hate group including some groups that are faith based.
Why would anyone want to include themselves in that?
