Okay, toss the word, "tradition."

Substitute the word, "precedent."

Continue.

The biggest problems we are facing right now have to do with George Bush trying to bring more and more power into the executive branch and not go through Congress at all and that’s what I intend to reverse.

This undermined the primary reason why homosexual intercourse was taboo -- sex is for procreation and they ain't playin' by the rules. But now that we can clearly differentiate the two functions of sex it makes the taboo on homosexual sex completely moot.

Also, it freed women to live by choice (and biology) rather than by biology alone. this dissolved the taboo of women in the workforce and has undermined the male-dominant culture of most of the developed world.

Whatever we may think of these sea-changes, they are a fact of life in our time.

So tell me, what is it about single or dual parent households that is markedly superior to polygynous or polygamous or homosexual households?

I doubt when you see 'family friendly' restaurant or 'family movie' they are referring to the Manson family...

Either as noted you’re too dense to understand or you don’t want to accept the answer because as someone who hates gays it disallows your ploy to link same sex marriage with a practice which is illegal in all states.
Are you so dense that once equal protection has been granted to gay marriage. There is nothing stopping the SCOTUS to overturn laws the now make it illegal for polygamists to marry under the equal protection clause. And take your whole hatred BS and shove it up your you know what. I'm so sick of leftist twits who use that hatred ploy to try and silence people. Grow up

Are you referring to the hatred ploy, which you broke out in Post #256? That hatred ploy? Or did you refer to some other hatred ploy?

Why should they be denied that protection under the Constitution? Try getting away from your hatred of Christians in general and Mormons in particular. Why shouldn't Muslims be allowed to freely practice their religion and have multiple wife's? As long as the women are ok with it, what business is it of yours. What part of multiple partners adults enjoying the same contractual protections and obligations as you and your assumed spouse impacts your daily existence?

You are profoundly and comprehensively ignorant as to the appellate process in the Federal system. Since laws banning polygamy do not violate the equal protection clause there are no grounds upon which a supposedly injured party might sue. Without grounds for a suit there is no case or jury decision. With no jury decision there are no grounds for an appeal so there is no ruling by a Federal appeals court. Without a lower court ruling to contest there is no case for SCOTUS to rule on, nothing, therefore, can be overturned.

You have the right to hate gays and be ignorant – I suspect the former can not be remedied, for your sake you might want to try to rectify the latter.
