That's Cedar Point, in Sandusky, OH. The name of the ride is the "Top Thrill Dragster". It launches you at between 120 and 130 mph into a vertical climb 400+ feet then drops you vertical again back down the other side, 120-130 AGAIN coming down. I was going to go on it when they first built it, but then saw a problem where the train DIDN'T make it over the top and came down backwards. Which isn't a problem but there is a possibility, since after the initial launch everything is controlled by gravity, that the train could get STUCK at the top. That would be WAY more than what I could deal with. I prefer to ride the Millenium Force, which is the second largest with the first hill being at 385 feet, runs at about 90-100mph and you DON'T have to be worried about getting stuck on that one...

OK, so that HAS to be part of the August 1 GTG.

That looks more fun than the coaster on top of the Stratosphere in Vegas.

Maybe not :

Due to rider restraint system requirements, guests of exceptional size may not be accommodated on some of our rides. This may apply, but not be limited to, men who exceed 6’2”, or those who exceed 225 pounds, have a 40” waistline or 52” chest or females who exceed 200 pounds or wear size 18 or larger. Each person has different body proportions so it is not possible to list exact size and weight.

Our larger guests may experience difficulty on Blue Streak, Chaos, Corkscrew, Disaster Transport, Mantis, Maverick, maXair, Mean Streak, Millennium Force, Mine Ride, Power Tower, Raptor, Skyhawk, Top Thrill Dragster, Wave Swinger, Wicked Twister

Nice comment, gotta love you aussies!
These guys make so much effing money they singlehandedly keep the area economy afloat. And are only open 4 months of the year.
People come from all over the world to ride the coasters here. My personal favorite is the Raptor. Hangs underneath the rails, so your feet are dangling in open air. Inverts 7 times with 2 being a "cobra roll" which actually renders weightlessness. Too cool. If you have a serious yen for thrill seeking, come on over, mate! We'll be more than happy to scare the piss out of you, too!!
