He did not say he will not let somebody else work on his cars, or that he will not own any good running cars.

Don't let a couple setbacks keep you from doing things you know how to do. For the complicated 190 thing, schedule a trip to Jonothan's, he usually has a way with troubleshooting. Schedule with him, his workload is horrendous, but there's a reason for that.
If this is about the wife abstaining, pay whatever it costs. PM shane and purchase one of his cars. You'll get yours, and he'll get his, and the world will be a better place.

The car isn't drivable, how can I take it to Jonathan? Besides, he's probably too busy to deal with my puny problems.
Bottom line, only the rx7 is safe to drive right now. Sad, very sad!

I saw a $399 a mo. lease special on the very well received Hyundai Genesis, which is the big Lexus competitor. If you aren't a mega miler it might be good.

or...

You can never, ever, go wrong with a Crown Vic. Plus is scares the hell out of people. Ford's panther platform is a 250k mile motor lasting beast. This one is already butch'd up...

I can't afford either one. If I had a choice, I would buy a NEW van but unfortunately teaching does not allow for luxuries.

You do not want to tell that to disfigured cops who almost burned to death, or to families of those who did die, when the fuel tank ignited from being ruptured by the rear axle assembly when their car was hit from behind. That is why some police departments will not order these cars and this is why I will not own one. Mercury Grand Marquis has the same problem.
