Is that the best shot you can take? CLK Man would be proud of you little pundit. But he meant it in a fun way, not so you darling.

Which definition of the word 'pundit' do you infer?

Yes, and...? What definition of the word pundit are you suggesting? It's a VERY simple question. Go on, have a go at it.

See Q
See how bad attitudes pollute the air.
When a point can't be won, name calling starts. Soon it is." Yeah' but at least I don't have a big nose!" It finally deteriorates to the point of grade school, play ground antics. "He Hit Me!!!, I'm Tellin!".
You can always figure a personality by putting yourself in a playground situation, and see who is the bully the tattle tale, who likes the games, who's the jock, who claims to be better(usually not so, just different) and all of the other personalities. They become obvious, and you soon can see where you stand in the playground of life, and how to maneuver it. An old Psych-Op's tactic. Sit back and watch. It always plays out. It usually tells the story. The quieter you are, the more you see!
This is not a condemnation of anybody here, but something to think on before making silly cut downs and accusations without even knowing the other persons attributes and qualities. Everybody has qualities that are unique, some use them right and others?

What does this have to do with religion. christianity or the church? Nothing. Just thought I would bring it up.

God Bless

@Aardvark

Do you ever read through what you write before you hit 'submit'?

I look forward to the day that you have something rational, cohesive and intelligent to say. Really I do.

Dope,
I relish the day you have good to say about others. I see (read) good in you at times, and know there is a soft and caring side. You seem to want to hide that.
It may also be the day when the Spirit talks to you.
I am not phased by your condemnations since to me you're a light weight in that respect, but I do pray for your deliverance to a happier life than you appear to have, from your writings.

Prayers and blessing and a Spirit confrontation (and believe it or not that is a good wish for you, instead of otherwise)

This seems to be a large part of your problem. You make suppositions about the world and people around you that have no basis from evidence or fact and convince yourself that they must be correct.
That I have little patience for ignorant fools, superstitious or otherwise has no bearing on my state of happiness. I tend to keep my personal life personal, but I can tell you that I lead the sort of life that you can probably only dream about and I am particularly happy and content to be unencumbered by any form of religious dogma.

By the way, I now see you are more 'trekkie' than 'techy' - the word is 'fazed'.

Did you 'set your phaser to stun' and accidentally shoot yourself in the head?

The current effort by the secular progressives to split religion away from government and squash it is reminiscent of Nazism and Moussolini's fascism (who gave up on that because he had the head of the Catholic church in his country) Wherever you find a dictator, you will find an attempt to rid the country of organized religion with the exception of the theocratically directed Muslims.

It isn't atheism that's at work here. What is happening is the replacement of historical organized religion with a new religion, worship of the earth. By declaring that there is a crisis on the earth, this leads to an increased power of the state, because it is the only power big enough to solve the earth's crisis. Al Gore is the new pope.
