Blocking the major supply of energy for the planet will be an immediate and long-term strategic threat.
The planet's transportation is dependent on oil. I don't mean ground-based, I mean ships. aside from a few warships, all vessels run on an oil product. Imagine what would happen if the food supply from Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, and the USA were interrupted. Literally billions of people in a dozen countries would be under threat of starvation. No politician, regardless of governmental system, could withstand the need to feed their people. Historically, war for food has always been acceptable to the starving population. Nukes would fly. Millions would die. Economies would destabilize. The Great Depression was just a warm-up for the main event.
The biggest problems we are facing right now have to do with George Bush trying to bring more and more power into the executive branch and not go through Congress at all and thatís what I intend to reverse.
